Ohm Sri Agathiyar Jeeva Naadi Arutkudil

Over 1,500 years ago, there was a temple for “Agathiya maharishi and Lobamudhra devi” in a village called “Thondatrankudi”. This temple was worshipped by numerous siddhars and rishis in both form and form less state. Many siddhars and rishis went to spread “Saivam” to the world from this place, during the said period of time.
Due to various changes that happened in this Kali yuga, this temple got dilapidated and completely lost its traces.

Hence, Agathiya maharishi instructed us to build temple on the same place, where the specified temple exists way back. Therefore, a temple is planned and built on rocks
in the same manner as it was before for our beloved Guru “Agathiya maharishi and Lobamudhra devi”, marking the old significance of existence. Needless to say, that
all the siddhar / rishis temple, have their own significance for benefits of this world especially to human beings.

Currently the name of the said village is called “Vizhar” which is approximately 15 kms from Kancheepuram.
